Teeth and Mouth

No matter how old you are, and you need to take care of the teeth and mouth. When your mouth is healthy, you can eat foods that you need for good nutrition. You will feel better also smiling, talking, and laughing. The aim of teeth to last a lifetime. Good care of your teeth and gums, you can protect them for many years.

Tooth decay
Called covering the teeth in the coating, it is hard outer enamel. Every day, and a thin layer of bacteria accumulate on your teeth. Over time, bacteria can cause holes in the enamel. These holes are called cavities. Brushing and flossing your teeth can protect you from decay, but it happens once in a cavity, a dentist and fix it.

You can protect your teeth from decay by using toothpaste containing fluoride. If you have a lot of tooth decay, the dentist or the dentist may give you a fluoride treatment during an office visit. Or, you may tell your dentist to use a fluoride gel or rinse at home.

Gum disease
Gum disease begins when plaque builds up along and under the gum line. This painting is causing the infections that hurt the gums and bone that holds teeth in place. Sometimes gum disease makes your gums tender and more susceptible to bleeding. And can in many cases this problem, called gingivitis, determined by daily brushing and flossing.

Gum disease that needs to be addressed by the dentist. If not treated, and this infection can ruin the bones, gums and other tissues that support the teeth. Over time, your teeth may be removed.
