Eye Makeup

Eye Makeup
Hundreds of women are mortified by the idea of applying eye make-up, and are clueless on how to do so. They want to look their best, but they just simply, don’t know how to. Therefore, I have put together some simple, easy eye makeup ideas, to help women to achieve the best appearance possible.

Now preparing for the eye make-up process is where you want to start. To start out with you will need to apply a thin layer of either foundation or primer, to correct any imperfections you may have, and create a perfect canvas for the application of color.

Now if choosing a color is one of your difficulties, then perhaps this can help you decide. Redheads tend to look better with copper, peach, reddish brown, or cool tones, such as lavender, or pink. Blondes tend to look their best when applying creams and taupe’s. Brunette’s normally look their best when wearing mochas and chocolates. Women with grey hair look gorgeous in grey, soft purples, and blues.

To accomplish complete simplicity, dust the entire eyelid with a dust of one color. Cream eye shadows are normally used for this look, although light to medium tones, tend to look best for this look. Then once the eye shadow is applied, add eye liner and mascara as needed.

Now if you want a more emphasizing look, start with the lightest color first. Dust the light tone over the entire eyelid area, using a medium brush. Next, you’ll want to hold the brush very lightly and go from the lash line to slightly beyond the crease. The brush will naturally lift the face, as you glide up to the brow bone, that’s where you want the color to end.

Following this dust a medium shade in the crease line, using a small brush. Then you’ll want to extend slightly beyond the crease, and up toward the brow bone. This effect will add depth to the eyes, and by going slightly beyond the crease, you will create a contour that is visible, when eyes are wide open.

If you are desiring an even more dramatic look, place a medium to deep tone one the upper lash line, using an angled eye shadow or eye liner brush. You’ll want to keep the line soft, and smudged. For even more drama, brush more of this color under the lower lash line, and apply it with a smudge brush, and in tiny strokes.

If you want to define the eye shape, dust a light to medium tone over the entire eye lid, then at the lash line, apply a darker tone with an eyeliner brush, in order to create a smudged, dramatic line.

Once you have completed the eye make-up process, use a large eye shadow brush and then dust the entire area with loose powder, to help set and blend the colors. One should not be able to see where any of the colors begin or where they end. The idea is to blend the colors together to give off the most elegant look possible. Once these steps are complete, then you may add mascara and eye liner as needed, to give your eyes that head turning look, you deserve.

As the summer approaches many of us have dread of exposure of those parts of our body which remained covered throughout the winter and we not care for them as legs, arms and bikini areas. The hairs on these parts are not liked by anyone. So there are different methods to remove the hairs. One amongst them is shaving them with razor.

Here are some tips to shave with the razor:

1. Choose the best razor, it is more convenient to use the electric razor, if you have to use the conventional razor, replace the disposable blades often. While using the conventional razor be slow and do extra care. It is not advised to use the straight blade razor.
2. Use the sharp blades and worn out blades are replaced before going to shave. Dull blades pull hair and there will be the risk of in growing hairs.
3. If the hairs are long then first to clip them or to cut them with scissors.
4. Soak the part from where the hairs are to be removed in warm water a t least for three minutes, it will make the hair soft and the hair follicles open and the roots to be pulled out easily.
5. Hair conditioner may be used to soften the hairs especially the coarse hairs, just let in for some time and then rinsed before shaving.
6. Apply the shaving cream thick coat on the hairs and spread it on the whole area to make the lather.
7. Pull the skin by one hand and use the other hand for razor, not to apply pressure to the razor.
8. Now start to shave in the direction of the hair growth, some do in the direction opposite to the hair growth but this may be used if the hairs are soaked well and the gel or he shaving cream is properly used, other wise there may be the risk of in growing hairs, In case of electric shavers the back and froth application is performed or may be according to the instructions.
9. Long upward strokes are best for legs.
10. Rinse the blades frequently while shaving. Otherwise the hairs on the blades interfere the process.
11. Do not go over the area repeatedly; it will cause the irritation,
12. Usually start from the ankles and go upward.
13. The stray hairs if remained these will be taken out with tweezers or by threading.
14. After the whole procedure rinse and apply the moisturizer and take the regular bath.

Eyebrow Waxing For Winter

Unless you have very sensitive skin, waxing is a quick and relatively easy alternative to plucking your eyebrows. Although it is generally best to get eyebrows waxed professionally it can be expensive – up to around $15 as a general rule, although salons do differ. If you have a tighter budget, or if you are feeling fairly brave, here are some simple steps for you to try at home.
1, Preparing the Eyebrow

Brush the eyebrow into place with a baby toothbrush or clean mascara wand, so that their natural shape is neatly defined. Next, apply an astringent such as witch hazel to anesthetize the sensitive skin under the brow. Work out your natural brow shape by standing several feet away from a mirror, and following these simple steps.

Working out the length of the eyebrow

Hold a ruler parallel to your nose, and level with the inner corner of the eye, to work out where the brow should begin. If your eyes are close together, make the gap between the brows wider. If your eyes are far apart, don't wax the start line of the brow too much so that they are closer together. Mark the correct point with a dot.

Working out the curve of the eyebrow

You can work out where the highest point of the curve/ arch should be by holding a ruler from the edge of the nostril past the outer edge of the iris (the colored part of the eye) and up to the eyebrow. Mark the spot with a dot.

Final planning

Now link up the dots in a gentle arch to draw on the ideal shape of the eyebrow that you want to achieve. This will give you a guideline to go by when applying the wax. You should aim for a smooth arched brow that tapers slightly at the outer ends.

2, Applying the Wax

Buy a professional waxing kit – basically a jar or tub of wax which can be warmed up in boiling water and applied with a small applicator or spatula, and (usually muslin) removal strips. Each product varies slightly, so be sure to read the manufacturers directions carefully.

Warm up the wax to optimum temperature and use the small spatula to apply a thin layer of wax to the growth. Make sure that you only use a small amount of wax on the spatula to avoid the wax dripping when it is applied. Apply wax with the hair growth under the eyebrow, (i.e. in the same direction that the hair grows in). You dont need to use much, and you should not let the wax dry.

3, Removing the Hair

This is the painful bit! Ouch!!

Never wax above the eyebrow, only ever shape from below. Waxing from under the brow will widen your eyes and help to get the line even. This will make you look younger and much more glamorous if done correctly! As soon as it is applied remove the wax against the hair growth, (i.e. in the opposite direction that the hair grows in). This is done by gently smoothing a piece of cotton muslin over the waxed area, pulling the skin taut with one hand, and pulling the muslin off with the other.

It is a good idea to take a little hair off at a time, especially if you have fairly this growth. You will be surprised how much difference a little hair removal will make to your appearance.

4, The Aftermath

Any straggly hairs left over after waxing can be easily plucked out using a set of good tweezers. Apply a soothing balm like tea tree oil onto the area afterwards. You should avoid direct sunlight, acid based facial treatments, and liquid makeup for several hours.

Natural Eye Makeup Look

Natural eye makeup look is an important one to master. Many occasions call for subtle or natural looking makeup, from conservative business settings to an early morning dentist appointment. You want to look put together but don’t want it to be too obvious you are wearing makeup. Here are a few tips for giving your eyes some definition without looking like you tried too hard.

-Start with a base to neutralize any redness you may have in the eye area and to help your color last all day without creasing. Eye makeup products like MAC Bare Canvas Paint or Too Faced Shadow Insurance are perfect for prepping your lid for a neutral look.

-Swipe a soft neutral shade all over the lid. You can go with a beige, peach, or bone color depending on your skin tone. Matte shades or slightly shimmery ones such as MAC Grain are ideal choices.

-Apply a taupe or brown color in your crease using a rounded crease brush. Avoid red-based browns. A color like MAC Satin Taupe is flattering to most skin tones. After applying, use a blending brush to blend as much as possible so the color fades gradually.

-Use a pencil eye liner in a medium brown color. A soft pencil in a color similar to your lashes like Urban Decay Bourbon or MAC Teddy Eye Kohl gives you the most natural look. A gel liner like the soft shimmery brown MAC Ostentatious applied with a light hand can also look pretty and natural. Liquid liners should be avoided altogether.

-Curl your lashes and then apply one coat of mascara to the upper lashes only. Go with a brown mascara or dark brown if your hair is very dark. Black can look too harsh for natural makeup looks.

-Be sure to fill in your brows. This is an essential step for making your face look complete. Use a powder or soft pencil in a shade that is just slightly lighter than your natural brow color. Follow your natural arch and fill in the brows, being sure to blend well.

-A brow highlighter helps round out your look. A neutral shadow such as MAC Vanilla applied to the brow bone just under the brows adds a little highlight/definition without adding color.

Washing Your Hair

Most of us think we have this all down pat, but for all we know, we might be wrong. After all, we have been washing our hair all our lives. How could we go wrong with something like washing our hair? However, we might be washing our hair the wrong way and contribute to its damage without actually knowing it.

What we should remember about our hair is that the individual strands of our hair, no matter how thick or strong it looks, is actually very delicate. So we cannot just tug and pull at it, or else it would break. We would not want to have hair breakage, would we?

So, what is the right way of washing the hair?
The first thing you should do is to comb the tangles out of the hair before you wet it so the hair would wash easily and the tangles would not worsen. And then, wet your hair thoroughly under the shower. You can use either warm or cold water if you like, but for best results, you can wet your hair with warm water to open the scale-like cuticles of the hair and wash all the oil and dirt off. And then, you can rinse your hair with cold water afterwards to close the cuticles and add to the shine of your hair.

Rinse your hair under the shower to rid it of the leave-on conditioner and styling aids you have used previously, using gentle strokes of your fingertips. Then, pour a dollop of shampoo in the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together, and then apply the shampoo to your scalp. Take note that you should put the shampoo on your scalp and not at the ends of your hair, as the shampoo would dry your hair’s ends and cause it to weaken and split. Also, do not mix your hair all over your head as you shampoo because it will get all tangled up. After this, rinse the shampoo off.

More often than not, we need to shampoo our hair for a second time. The purpose of the first shampoo is to clean the oil and dirt off; the second shampoo is supposed to let the shampoo treat our hair. So, repeat the process, but let the shampoo sit on for around a couple of minutes. Rinse the hair completely after this.

To get the excess water off your hair, just squeeze the water out. Do not pull or tug at the hair because the hair is at its most delicate when it is soaked. When the excess water is out, apply a dollop of conditioner – mane event – and apply it along the hairline, the nape and the ends of the hair. Pile your hair then inside a shower cap and let the conditioner stay there for around ten minutes. And then, rinse it off completely.

Eyebrow Care

Tips for Maintaining Good Eyebrow Care

While maintaining good eyebrow care is not necessarily difficult, it can yield disastrous results if you don’t know how to go about it properly. There are certain things that must be taken into consideration when exercising eyebrow care, and not every piece of advice is suitable for every person. Read on to learn tips for keeping your eyebrows in top shape.

First, you have to understand that just as some people have different skin types, there are also different types of eyebrow. Some have thicker eyebrows that require much more work in the taming and shaping department, while others may have thin eyebrows that need a little shaping and darkening. Others are lucky to have just the right balance of thickness. The point is the way you care for your eyebrows may differ slightly from how a friend might care for hers. The main duties required to maintain good eyebrow care are: shaping, taming and tweezing, and stimulating healthy growth.

The first item on the list is shaping, so we will start off with that. The idea of “shaping” your eyebrows is to enhance the way your eyes are presented on your face. –Sounds a little cheesy, I know, but many people underestimate the importance of well groomed eyebrows. Many women have a tendency to thin out their eyebrows too much rather than keeping a natural, but groomed look. This often results in the need to draw or “fill in” the eyebrows with a brow pencil. To avoid this, it’s best that you get your initial eyebrow shaping done professionally.

As a general rule, eyebrows should stay thicker at the beginning (the side closest to the nose) and gradually become thinner towards the end. A slight arch adds a nice frame to your eyes, but one must be sure to follow the line of their brow. As we tend to get “tunnel vision” when concentrating on a project, shaping our own eyebrows usually hinders us from seeing the overall picture. This is the main reason for going to a professional. Not only are they trained to deal with all types of face shapes and brow types, but they can also offer you invaluable pointers on how to maintain your eyebrows yourself so you don’t have to come back to the salon every two weeks.

Once the eyebrows are shaped, it’s a good idea to start “taming” or training your brows to point in the direction that they grow naturally. Take a good look at your eyebrows. Do you have a few (or a lot, in some cases!) rebellious hairs that insist on sticking out in other directions? To train your eyebrows, you can use clear mascara (just a bit is needed) to brush them in the right direction. Once your eyebrows start getting the hang of which direction to flow, you can ditch the mascara and start using an eyebrow brush. Brushing once in the morning and once before bed should be sufficient enough to continue the training. In order to maintain the shape of your brows, I recommend you invest in a good pair of tweezers. No one likes pulling out hairs, but if you tweeze right after a bath or shower you’ll find that it doesn’t hurt as much because your pores are already open. Start by brushing your eyebrows in their natural direction. The only bits you need to worry about are the new hairs that have grown in underneath your brow. Maintenance will help keep your eyebrow shape for a while, but you will need to make it a point to get a re-shaping done at the salon at least every three months.

There are several things you can do to stimulate healthy eyebrow growth. You may be thinking to yourself, “I go to all of this trouble to maintain my eyebrows, why do I want to encourage them to grow?” Hairs falling out and being replaced is absolutely natural and should be encouraged! For an extra bit of nourishment to your eyebrows, you can rub a bit of egg white onto your eyebrows and leave it for ten minutes before washing off. You can also rub a bit of olive oil or coconut oil into your eyebrows to stimulate growth.

Why You Should Use A Night Cream

Majority of people think a moisturizer is enough to keep skin hydrated and moist. But it may not be a complete skin caring element and you certainly require an additional product to retain the health of the skin. That product is night cream that works best for all skin types. It is typically heavier than the regular day cream.

Choosing a night cream

Buy one that contains Avocado oil, Vitamin E, Manuka honey and Shea butter as these are excellent ingredients for a supple flawless skin. It works amazingly quickly and effectively, making your skin look younger and alive. The cream you are going to purchase should have more than just vitamin E in that to provide your skin with all the required stuff. Seek help from friends, a beauty expert or a dermatologist in this regard. Find one with this ingredient too: Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10 which is found in day creams mostly and works well in night cream.

How to use

Cleanse your skin at night with a cleanser. Tone and rinse off with fresh water. Let it dry. Don’t use any towel, cotton or tissue paper as it may transfer bacteria to the surface of the skin. After it gets completely dried, softly apply a little cream over face, neck and hands.

If you really want to say good-bye to wrinkles and make your skin young and refreshing it is highly recommended to use the right night cream.

Diet and Exercise

Apart from the composition and usage of the night cream, internal factors must also be considered for the perfectly healthy skin and that is as you know a balanced diet comprising all food groups. Drink plenty of water 1 to 1.5 liters a day. Detoxification diet is also a wonderful plan to have a glowing spotless skin that should be adopted with the consultation of an expert dietician.

Breathing exercises increase blood circulation and pump air into the lungs to produce new clean blood. So do it five days a week for 20 to 40 minutes under the supervision of the trainer.

Bridal Makeup Tips

Wedding day is the most memorable and cherished day of one’s life. It is essential to get makeup perfectly flawless by a renowned beautician. Here are some useful tips related to it.

Get Facials

Never get facial a day before the wedding or at that day. Likewise pluck or wax eyebrows at least two days before the occasion

Don’t use alpha hydroxy or retin A cream a day before the wedding.

Cleanse

Before putting makeup the skin must be prepared by deeply cleansing and then moisturizing it 15 to 20 minutes before applying base.

Use concealar in very small amount, it can highlight the part of face it is heavily applied.

The shade of the foundation and concealer should be similar.

Base

Apply foundation according to the tone of the skin. Don’t skip the neck, arms and feet. For oily skin use water based formula and dab gently with a loose powder to absorb extra oil and enhance its staying power. Use pigmented cream foundation then apply powder base over it.

Blusher

Powder based blush is the most suitable of all. Ask the bride to smile then cover the area that naturally blushes. Keep it light otherwise it will look too artificial.

Light contouring of nose and face line is necessary. It should be done with the shades of browns not pinks.

Lipstick

Avoid using gloss. Use lipstick that lasts and is perfectly matched with the shades of the dress. For neutral colored outfit pink or red is appropriate. Dab talcum powder over the lipstick then apply another layer of it to make it more resistant. It is wise to apply with a brush and merge the outline with it. Blend two shades to have the required color tone. Use balm, lacquer or a primer on lips before applying lip color.

Lipliner should be similar in color with the lipstick or it will look a bit awkward.

Follow the natural lip outline. Do not apply beyond that it looks so ugly and untidy.

Eye-Makeup

This is the most important area. Use light base over eye lids. Matching eye shadows with the dress color or motif look stunningly attractive. For brides it is heavy with two or more shades.

Apply eye liner black or colored as the requirement.

Use extended lash mascara. Let it dry then apply another coating to enhance the lashes. Mascara gel that is transparent can be a good alternate to black mascara if there is a strong chance of that leaving spots over the eye lids or below the eyes.

I hope these handy tips will certainly help a great deal in having a perfect makeup experience. Moreover, seek assistance from a makeup expert and do some internet surfing to get extra information.

Skin Moles Skin Moles Charm or Threat?

skin mole (melanocytic nevi) is a permanent or acquired dark spot on the skin. Usually it is part of skin pigmentation and appears on part of the body, where melanocytes form cluster formations. Most often moles are a benign growth of the color cells of the skin (melanocytes) and can even add some charm to the appearance of their owners. However, sometimes moles can cause a serious health risk.

Moles naturally appear in the first year of life and are believed to be the result of a disorder in the development of the fetal cells. Women are prone to having more moles appear on their skin throughout the second or third decade of their life due to sunburns or as a result of pregnancy. The skin mole can range in color from light to dark brown, even black. The size and form can also vary. The single skin mole is referred to in medical terms as a nevus. The nevi (the plural for a nevus) can be in singular clusters or spread on the entire torso, arms and legs. The surface of the moles may be flat or raised. Some will sprout a few hairs, which is normal.
Skin Mole types

There are several skin mole types. The most common one is the lentigo, which is most often seen in people with dark skin. It is a dark circular mark with the size of a lentil bean and with a slightly elevated surface. Its color can be yellow-brown or dark brown. Usually it doesn’t sprout any hair.

Another type of skin mole is the cellular. It is a raised hemispherical formation, which is soft to touch with smooth or with a furrow pattern. The color can be the same as the skin, grayish or dark purple. The size can vary from that of a lentil bean to a cherry. This type of mole usually appears on the face and torso.

The blue nevus is a variant of a common mole. It appears mostly on the face in the shape of small lentil-like ganglions, which have a blue color and can be seen through the skin. The blue nevus is composed of melanocytes, the cells which produce the melanin pigment. This nevus gets its name from the distinct clinical appearance because of the pigmented cells within the dermis. It is benign and is usually more of a cosmetic problem.

The charm of the skin mole

Is a mole really a charm for luck, money and happiness – I don’t know – but in all cases a skin mole (especially on the face) can add some charm to the appearance of its owner. The rich and famous women are a living proof: Angelina Jolie has a mole right above her right eyebrow, Beyonce Knowles – next to her left eye, Cindy Crawford – left of her lips, Madonna – under her nostrils, Julia Roberts – under each one of her eyes, Scarlet Johanson – on her right cheek, Kim Cattrall – left below her lips and so on…
When does the skin mole pose a threat?

Skin moles can become a serious health problem if they turn into a malignant formation, known as melanoma. Although an individual’s risk for developing melanoma depends a great deal on their family history and inherited genes, the extreme exposure to ultraviolet (UVA) rays is one of the major contributors to the development of melanoma. The severe sunburns during childhood are the most risky ones.

The uncontrolled growth of the melanocytes leads to the formation of many cancerous cells that divide repeatedly at abnormal rates. They appear on the skin’s surface as dark brown or black flat moles. These should be observed carefully as the basic symptoms they can show are: bleeding, irregular form, change in size or color, itchiness or painfulness. Changes in a skin mole or multiple moles warrant immediate attention by a dermatologist.

Applying sun cream with a high UVA factor every time you expose parts of your body to the sun is strongly recommended as prophylactics.

In extremely rare cases the lentigo can develop as a malignant formation. The signs are enlargements of the mole and black coloration. Small circular marks appear around the mole and the skin becomes inflame. This is why moles should be avoided while shaving and they shouldn’t be scratched, hit or picked at.
Removal of skin moles

If you have a skin mole that meets any of the following criteria – change in size or form, irregular outlines, bleeding, irregular pigmentation or other unusual symptoms – the removal of that mole is mandatory.
Of course, you should always consult with a specialist who will determine whether the mole can be removed with a cut or if a more substantial surgical intervention will be needed.

Despite the fact that it is a widespread belief that the removal of skin moles is dangerous, this is not true at all. Their removal, if performed right, makes the skin smoother, cleaner and decreases the risk of irritations.

If a particular skin mole is causing you discomfort or you simply dislike it don’t hesitate to remove it. At the same time, emphasize the beauty marks you like by covering them with an eye pencil to make your individual beauty shine!

How To Minimize Large Facial Pores

Oily skin has large opened pores that attract dirt and cause acne and pimples, it is important to minimize the pores to avoid any skin related skin disorder. Remember it is an ongoing process that needs regular care.

Regular use of sugar scrubs reduces facial pores to a great extent. Additionally it removes fine lines, removes dead skin and toxins making the skin smoother. It helps in getting rid of black heads and makes the skin radiant.

    * Skin Products

Use mild skin products with the skin type. An effective way to minimize pores according to expert dermatologists is to avoid strong and harsh products. Toners and astringents with too much alcohol can cause dryness and chapped skin. As a result, the oil glands produce excess oil which can clog the pores making them enlarged. These can tighten the skin pores temporarily but can have damaging effects in the long-term. The complexion can get deteriorated as well.
Avoid oil based make-up as it can cause pore clogging and consequently making them enlarged. Oil-free products are the best for oily skin with large pores and black heads. Wear a light make-up and remove it before going to bed.

    * Mask

Herbal remedies and fruit masks made at home are excellent idea as they are devoid of strong chemicals, preservatives, artificial fragrances and dyes. Combine gram flour with milk and fresh lemon juice to make a paste. Apply over the face and wash after20 minutes.

Hairstyles For Square Faces

Everyone's face shape is generally either oval, round, square, diamond, triangle, heart or oblong, and different haircuts and hairstyles suit each face shape differently (if you're unsure of your face shape then try our free consultation). Layered haircuts in particular are great at bringing out the very best of every face shape. Here I'm going to focus on short, medium and long layered hairstyles for square face shapes.

1. Short Layered Hairstyles for Square Faces

Short Straight hairstyles

This short straight hairstyle with uniform layers through the top and over-extended layers through the front and sides is perfect for our model's square face shape. The top has been layer cut shorter with some razoring to create soft high spikes which add length to the face. The front bangs have been left longer and then styled to one side to create a diagonal movement. The sides are also slightly longer and wispy for a soft finish. When you look at this hairstyle your eye immediately gets drawn to the top and the side-swept bangs, and the result is you hardly notice the model's square jaw line. Tricky deception!

Another great uniform layered hairstyle for square face shapes with straight hair is this short and spiked messy look. The overall shape achieved is oval (round on top with height), and it works well to add length to the face and minimize the appearance of squareness. The bangs are light and wispy with a vertical opening or movement to one side. The sides have been left longer and razor-cut to make them wispier and kick-out, drawing attention away from the model's square jaw area. Bright highlights have also been used to further accentuate this layered hairstyle's shape and movement.

2. Medium Layered Hairstyles for Square Faces

Medium Wavy hairstyles

This medium length wavy and flicked layered hairstyle is a very good example of what to do if you'd like to flatter your square face shape. The back has been cut to the shoulders with layers gradually getting longer to about half way up the head (or eye level from the front). The sides have been angle-layered in the same way and finish at the same height (weight line), allowing them to kick-out softly, thus drawing attention away from the model's square jaw line. The front bangs have been swept to one side and the side part on top finishes half way back the head, allowing the crown to be teased for height (lengthening the face).

This is a soft and elegant graduated layered hairstyle for straight hair, and it demonstrates how the technique of layer cutting can make a big difference to the appearance of the face's shape. Without the layers this hairstyle wouldn't suit square face shapes, but with them the hair angles down at the sides and softens the jaw line. Also the kicked-out mid areas draw attention away from the face. The side-swept bangs work well to create diagonal movement- or a triangular shape- that changes the entire look of our model's face.

3. Long Layered Hairstyles for Square Faces

Long Straight hairstyles

Soft face-framing layers have been cut into this hairstyle to flatter our model's squarer face. The wispy sides fall just below the chin and extend to the back, creating the illusion of a curved length that compensates for the lack of height through the top. The bangs are side-swept to create the appearance of a more triangular face shape- a necessary deception for squarer faces.

Heavy and over-extended layers through the back and sides allow our model's hair to fall into its natural shape, accentuating its waves. These waves, or the curved nature of this look, soften our model's strong and heavy jaw line. Her bangs, although a little too short, are swept to one side and create the best shape. The top is somewhat flat, yet acceptable, due to the long length and shape of the back and sides falling forward.

Once you have established that you have a square face shape, finding the best layered hairstyle to suit you is not really very difficult. You just have to follow some simple guidelines:

    * Always try to soften your strong jaw line with soft wisps or curves (waves/curls).
    * Side-swept bangs create diagonal movement and decrease squareness.
    * Hairstyles that have an element of height on top work well, particularly when rounded in shape.
